Are you planning to transfer to PSU? We know the process can be daunting, but we are here to support you. Over 60% of our students are transfer students. These students are a big part of who we are. Here’s an outline of the process each step of the way:
The minimum admission requirements to Portland State are:
- Completion of 30 or more transferable college quarter credits (20 semester credits)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.25, or 2.00 minimum if student has a transferable associate's degree or an Oregon Transfer Module (OTM)
- Completion of WR 121 or equivalent with a grade of C- or better
- Meet Second Language Admissions Requirement (Oregon High School graduates only)

Submit your application and pay the $52 application fee
Your admissions application will be processed when the $52 application fee is either paid or deferred (if you are eligible for deferral) and official transcripts from all the schools you've attended are received by PSU.
